Who We Are
We nurture creativity and encourage our students to build their skills in a fun filled, friendly and supportive environment.
Students in all classes take part in activities that include co-operative team challenges, small drama games of improvisation, developing clarity and confidence in speech, learning scripted pieces and performing work at various speech and drama eisteddfods and our end of year showcase concert. There are opportunities to take part in examinations with the Trinity College London and the highlight of our year - our productions.
Throughout the year the students often have great input in what they would like to focus on, so we are often working on comedy and drama, period pieces, making dance video clips, allowing for student directors and choreographers, playing dress ups and organising photo shoots! Our final performance in December allows each class to perform a dance routine (a variety of styles), and we often have some amazing singing soloists too.
Whilst every child is not going to grow up to be an actress or actor, in this day and age it is the confidence in a person that is very important. Being a part of an encouraging, team driven unit allows our students to make friends for life and experience adventures that benefit their futures.
Classes are held on Wednesday & Friday afternoons at the St Aidan’s Uniting Church - 17-21 Duggan Street, Balwyn North.
